FOLLOW ME FRIDAY AND
BOOK BLOGGER HOP! YAY!

This week's featured blogger is Rebecca from
 Confessions of a Page Turner

Now for the Follow Me Friday Fun!

This week's question is...

Inspired by the inane twitter trend of #100FACTSABOUTME, give us 5 book related silly facts about you.

1. IF I HAVEN'T HEARD OF A BOOK OR AUTHOR BEFORE, I WILL ONLY PURCHASE IT IF I ABSOLUTELY ADORE THE COVER - THAT WAY, IF I HATE THE BOOK, IT WILL STILL LOOK PRETTY ON MY SHELF.

2. I TEND TO READ BOOKS WHOS TITLES BEGIN WITH THE LETTERS B, R, S, AND P. DON'T ASK ME WHY, IT JUST HAPPENS THAT WAY.

3. I DON'T READ MUCH DURING THE DAYTIME - I GET DISTRACTED TOO EASILY.

4. IF I'M READING IN A ROOM WITH FLORESCENT LIGHTS, MY HEAD WILL EXPLODE, LOL. I USE LAMPS IN EVERY ROOM IN MY HOUSE.

5. AFTER I READ THE TWILIGHT SERIES, I HAD THE LONGGGGGGEEEEEST DATING DRY-SPELL BECAUSE I WOULDN'T DATE ANYONE WHO WASN'T AS HOT AS MY MENTAL IMAGE OF "EDWARD CULLEN", LOL. AND GUESS WHAT, IT WORKED! I MET THE MOST AMAZING, HOTTTTTT MAN, AND WE ARE LIVING HAPPILY EVER AFTER.

Book Blogger Hop

This week's question comes from Mina @ Mina Burrows.

"If you could physically put yourself into a book or series, which one would it be and why???"

GREAT QUESTION! I WOULD TOTALLY JUMP RIGHT INTO CHLOE NEILL'S CHICAGOLAND VAMPIRE SERIES.

I WOULD LOVEEEEEEE TO BE STUCK IN THE MIDDLE OF SO MANY HOTTTTTT VAMPS. I LOVEEEE SHIFTERS, BUT DEEP DOWN , I'M A VAMP LOVIN' CHICA.

Karly Kirkpatrick's upcoming vamp title is set in Chicago - you should check her out. I don't remember what letter her title starts with, but the cover's pretty. ;)

I love your answers. How sweet that you met your Edward?! My husband is more like Eric from True Blood - a total bad ass, older than me, but has a sweet side and is a total hottie..lol. You know I love the bad boys.

As always, love your blog!

Have a great weekend.

Just swinging through on the blog hop. I enjoyed reading your answers to the #5 Things question. You know? I have not yet read the Chicagoland Vampire Series but, I have the first book sitting on my TBR shelf. Sitting there...looking at me. I need to read it soon eh?

Anyway, I hope you have a great weekend!

Erin - thanks for the suggestion, I'll definitely check it out. I love Urban Fantasy! Love the excitement of the city!

Evie - haha, our men are very much alike. Gotta love those bad boys, ooowheeee! I just had this mental image of Edward Cullen stuck in my head for the longest time, and every guy I met after that just did not meet my physical and emotional expectations. I really lucked out, lol. I wonder how many poor, lonely women are waiting for their Edward to come along. There aren't too many guys like that out there, but hey, at least we found ours!

Kelly - I command you to pick that book up tonight and start reading! It was soooooo great - steamy, sexy, bad ass vamps in an urban setting, perfection! But on a more serious note, I loved the story. If you like strong female protagonists, this is the book you have been waiting for.

Thanks for hopping by!

I had no idea there were vampire books set in Chicagoland. (or that people outside of Chicagoland know that word even exists!) :)
Now I'll have to look through my books and see if there are any first letter trends.
Happy hopping!

Apologies in advance for my answer this week as it will not immediately resonate with the book blogger population which happens to be 99.5% female.

My choice is a book series geared towards guys which won’t enthrall the vast majority of my fellow book bloggers (who are almost entirely female) with the extensive discussion of powerful weapons and sexy milspec gear, beautiful women, eye-popping action sequences (with occasionally obscene violence), and the like.

But there IS something in my answer that just about everyone of the female persuasion can benefit from my decidedly “books for guys” post. Hop on over to http://www.howardsherman.net to find out what it is.

Happy Hop Friday!

I can't read with flourescent lighting either, it has to be lamp light! :) I really need to check out that series! Here's my Hop!

I get headaches from lights too! They have to be just barely bright enough to read by! I'm a new follower. My FF is at Coffee Table Press

Adorablve site.
I'm glad I'm not the only cover crazy person.
I agree with the light thing too. Bright lights and britght white walls do not go well with reading in my opinion, nor does staring at a computer screen. Although I've read maybe one or two books on my computer.

That is so funny about dating someone as hot as Edward. And you keep talking about these Chicagoland Vampire series which means I'm going to have to get the first one. It makes me happy that you chose a book with a lot of action! Thanks for sharing :)
